London's oldest Indian restaurant

Established 75 years ago by the great grandson of an English General and an Indian princess, this illustrious restaurant has served North and South Indian dishes to many a famous face. Although steeped in history, this Indian restaurant does not rely on stayed staples. The food is imaginative and contemporary with freshly ground spices being used in dishes such as lobster with fresh turmeric and raw mango. The décor is also modern, with colourful lacquered walls, glass and chrome.
